Caroline Wang

 

 Caroline Wang is a NASA engineer, and she also has a passion for art. Combining these two disciplines, she studied art at the University of Minnesota and received a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. She believes any successful product requires creativity. The best design comes from both knowledge and creativity. Therefore, art makes good foundation for any engineer and scientist. Watercolor is Caroline's favorite medium. She started painting when she was 5 years old. She has won numerous art awards as a child in Taipei, Taiwan. She also received the 2005 Exhibit South "Best in Show" at the Tennessee Valley. She was invited to one person exhibits in several major cities which included Huntsville, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Memphis during the last three years. She mixes Far East, and Western painting techniques to create her unique style. She teaches others how to apply those techniques to their work.
